The Lame Walk

We were ministering one night at Centro de Avivamiento in Acuna, Mexico. People had come from several churches to hear the gospel and to be healed by the power of God. As people began to come into the church building, we noticed an older lady in a walker with one person on each side of her helping her to walk. When we made the call for those who wanted healing to come forth, she very slowly made it to the front of the platform. The pastor told us that she had had two strokes within a six-month period and that she was not doing well. We began to curse every “crippling spirit” that had come upon her from these strokes and released a healing anointing into her body. I watched as she began to lift one foot barely off the ground, then she began to lift the other. Then she let go of the walker with one hand. I took a hold of her other hand and set the walker aside. As we began to walk she became stronger and stronger until she was marching around the sanctuary. The last we heard of her, she was going from house to house in her village sharing how Jesus had miraculously healed her.
