Miracle Baby

We had been married for around 5 years when we decided it was time to start a family. Within the first year of trying, Kerry had two miscarriages, one at 5 weeks another at 12 weeks. After these two miscarriages we thought that we may have some problem and began to worry about our chances of having a pregnancy carry full term. It was around this time that Pastor Jerry was visiting the local Vineyard church of which we are members. Kerry went forward for prayer from Pastor Jerry and asked for healing. Within a few weeks pregnancy number three was confirmed. At around 6 weeks it started to look like a third miscarriage was likely as similar symptoms were occurring. They took a scan which showed that the fetal sac showed no sign of a heartbeat. When they took another scan it showed that the sac was separating from the placenta, another sign of a miscarriage. At this point the doctor said that it was 90% that Kerry was having another miscarriage. We were asked to return in 2-3 weeks. As we sat in the car we refused to believe that this was going to happen, as we believed that Kerry had been healed and this baby was God given. We returned to the hospital in two weeks to report to the doctor that Kerry did not think she had miscarried. As the doctor was taking another scan, she said "Miracles do happen!" She turned the screen to us and we could see the image of a perfectly normal 8 week old fetus with a very strong heart beat. The doctor gave us a picture of the scan and we could see a very clear "love heart" surrounding our baby. Issac was born on the 22nd of March 2004 a perfectly healthy baby boy!!!
